The Dr. Hesabi Museum was established in 1992, following the death of the renowned Iranian physicist, in his former residence. The museum is located at 47 Hesabi Street, Hesabi Square, Maqsoud Beik (Darbandi) Street, Tajrish.
The house dates back to 1931. The museum is situated on the third floor, in the western wing of Dr. Hesabi's residence, covering an area of approximately 40 square meters. The museum's collection includes Dr. Hesabi's personal belongings such as clothing, toothbrush, glasses, comb, pen, notebook, and handmade items, as well as certificates of appreciation, academic and scientific documents, medals and awards, family photos, children's and grandchildren's toys, family gifts, and more.
Additionally, the museum displays items presented to Dr. Hesabi, including paintings, calligraphy, carpets, and handicrafts, along with his personal belongings and all his authored and translated works.
The museum is managed by Iraj Hesabi, the son of Mahmoud Hesabi. It operates in two sections: a cultural section responsible for publishing Mahmoud Hesabi's works, and a scientific section dedicated to his life and scientific research.
