The ethnography museum of Zavareh is placed close to the grand Hossainieh of the city. The museum is the only museum of the city located inside the historical house of Mir Baha al-Din Heydar, one of the great Sufis of Zavareh which is related to Ilkhanate period. The museum has been established in the place of the historical House of Chahar Sofe, next to Mir Baha al-Din Heydar Tomb who was one of the great Tabatabaei Sufis. It is stated that he was killed by Mongols and then buried there. According to the extant documents, the tomb is related to the eighth century however, the house was built in Qajar style. Started to be built in 2005, the museum includes different parts dedicated to ethnography, rituals, great figures of the city, the maquette of the historical texture of the city, handicrafts and library.

Objects in the museum include the manuscript of Quran and local containers. In addition, the background of this historical city is described by some boards installed on the walls. 

Twelve vitrines here show ancient relics, manuscripts, marriage vows, historical tiles and precious tableaus. Texture and lifestyle of Zavareh’s people, the statues of great figures of the city, the memorials of the city’s martyrs, traditional kitchen (Matbakh), the exhibition of historical photos, books and written materials are other parts of the museum.
