Vardij village is located in the northwest of Tehran and is part of the Kan-o-Sulqan regions. Before reaching this village, you will be fascinated by the beautiful and winding road, a road that crosses the mountain slope and goes up, and in some places, it becomes so narrow that you have to move carefully. But this narrow and winding road is one of the attractions of Verdij village.
As you cross the road, you suddenly come across a strange view of magically shaped mountains. There is a lot of talk and legend about these weird mountains. Some consider these stones to be a petrified ethnic group. And some say that this is the remains of an old castle from which only these stones now remain. Near the mountain, there is a place that you can park your car then you can climb these magical mountains and stand among these gnomes and stone icons and stare at the beauties of these strange gnomes, which of course there is the scientific reason for their creation that is the erudition of the mountain with the wind.
If you continue this road, you will reach the village of Varish, a beautiful summer village at the foot of the mountains with gardens that have been formed on this slope, and the fruit of which is chard, cherries, sour cherries, and walnuts. The people of this village are very good, and they protect this beautiful nature which is available to them. Therefore, before entering the road, you should pay a small toll as a cost for clean, and get a garbage bag to put your trash in it.
At the entrance of the village, you will see an arrow that marks the path of the spring. If you continue this path, you will reach a river where you can see lush and beautiful gardens.
If you continue the route along the river for about an hour, you will reach the Lat Mall waterfall, a tall and beautiful waterfall with pleasant water. If this route is long for you, you can rest by the river and enjoy this pristine nature, clean air, and blue sky.
The best way to reach these two imaginary villages is from the west of Tehran and the Tehran-Karaj highway. After reaching the entrance of Vard-Avard gas station, you should go to Shahid Ardestani Street, and after passing a short path on your right, you will see the road to the Vardij and Varish.
