Shah Gheyb Pond is located in the historical area of Shah Gheyb in the Farmeshkhan Rural District, south of Khormayi Village. In the southern part of Khormayi Village, about two kilometers to the left of the road, there is a large orchard filled with plane, White poplar, and Myrtle trees, along with a beautiful pond with exceptionally clear water. This water is used for agricultural purposes and flows into the Kovar plain. The land where this pond is located has an approximate area of 18 hectares. The dimensions of the pond are 10x10 meters, and its current depth is 5.1 meters. Surrounding this area, there is a zone of about 200 to 300 hectares filled with delicate and intricate wheel-made pottery sherds, giving the impression of a historical city. This area extends to the foothills of the mountains overlooking the Farmeshkhan plain. There is an Imamzadeh (a shrine for a descendant of an Imam) named Shah Gheyb within the Shah Gheyb Pond area which has a new structure giving the area its name. The presence of beautiful orchard, Myrtle trees, and flowing springs with clear water has transformed the region into a recreational spot, attracting many people from Kovar for leisure activities. This pond is located 20 kilometers away from Kovar.
