Jaseb summer village is a mountainous land located near Panzdah-e Khordad dam in the north of Dilijan city, Markazi province. Jaseb district includes seven villages named Varan, Harazjan, Krugan, Veshtekan, Zor, Vesquneqan and Bijegan, which are located in a valley spreading 50 kilometers on both sides of Azna river. Azna is just flowing from March to June and it is located nearly 1200 meters above sea level. 

There is a protected habitat area in Jasb that is more than 17 thousand hectares. This is a forest habitat which is connected to the heights of Palang Darreh mountain from the north, to the Dilijan plain from the south, to Qamrud from the west, and to the Karkas mountains from the east. In the western and southwestern parts of Jasb, there are different species of plants like Prunus scoparia, fig, Pistacia khinjuk, Pistacia atlantica, barberry, hawthorn, and spurge. 

There is also a variety of animal species here, including leopards, boars, wolves, goats and shepherds, rams and sheep, deer, rabbits, and birds like eagles, sparrowhawk, See-see partridge, kestrel, Quail, and buzzard. In addition, a part of Jasb habitat located over the heights of Al, Takht, and Valija mountains has tropical plant species and animals such as goats, bezoar ibex, partridges, and leopards. Among the mountains of Jaseb we can name Valija, Takht-e Sarhauz, Barzeh and Gargo.

We should also refer to the historical traces of ancient Iran in Jaseb, including the old cemetery, the hill of Imam Ali Castle, the hill of the Red Castle, the hill of Veshtekan Castle, the hill of the Vesquneqan Castle, the Bijegan Grand Mosque, the tower of Harazjan village, the hill of the castle of Krugan village, the cave of Sijan in the north of Varan village, and the inscriptions of the cemetery of Bijgan village.
