Nesar Ski Resort

Nesar Ski Resort is located in the Kurdistan province, on the southern slopes of Mount Nesar and in the southwest of Bijar city. This ski resort overlooks the city of Bijar.  Bijar Ski Resort is one of the five important resorts in Kurdistan province. The resort has an area of approximately 112 hectares, and its facilities include a ski slope, lift, grass slope, parking lot, hotel, restaurant, and a ski school with 20 male and female instructors. This resort was opened in 2009. The length of the slope is about 900 meters, and its width is 120 meters. Access to this resort is possible through the Bijar city, Taleghani Street, Mahdieh town, and Nesar International Ski Resort (located in the southwest of Bijar). Nesar Ski Resort is located on the slopes of Mount Nesar, with geographical coordinates of N355220 E473504. The grass slope with an area of two hectares (330 meters long and 60 meters wide) has been completed and is ready to be used, while its second phase, with the same area, is under construction.
