This church is in West Azarbaijan province in the southwest of the city of Salmas and in the village of Haftvan. According to several inscriptions on the façade of the church, the original construction date is from the 13th and 14th centuries AD, and it has been renovated and restored in later periods.

The plan of the building is in the form of two adjacent rectangles. The external dimensions of the larger rectangle, which forms the main hall of the church, are 13.3 x 15 meters. The smaller rectangle, which includes the altar and the surrounding spaces, measures 5.9 x 7.9 meters. The interior of the church has four large columns, on which and on the surrounding walls, arches with pointed arches have been executed, and in the central part of the space and on the four mentioned columns, a twelve-segment ribbed dome has been executed.

On the columns of this church and also on its interior walls, colorful paintings with human, animal, plant, plant and arabesque designs are visible, which are in themselves interesting and unique and tell the story and art of this region. This building, as a museum, is annually welcomed and visited by a large number of tourists and travelers.
