There is a particular kind of kebab driven its name from the region and is called "Bakhtiari Kebab". It is a highly delicious and extremely aromatic kebab enjoying high popularity in all cities of Iran in addition to Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari province. Kebab Bakhtiari is a mixture of lamb meat, spices, chicken fillet, bell pepper and onion, soaked in olive oil, salt, garlic powder and saffron and grilled over the fire. This aromatic and yummy food is usually served with local bread, very sour Doogh and rice.
