Bidvaz village is located in the central part of Esfarayen County, 19 kilometers northeast of the city of Esfarayen, and is part of the Milanloo district. This village is bordered by the Golyan district in Shirvan County to the northeast, the Shahjahan district in Faruj County to the east, the Bam and Safiabad district to the south, and the Royin district to the west.

The tourist attractions of this area include Ali Boreh Spring at the entrance of the village, Masjed Spring, Rashid al-Din Bidvazi Spring, Bidvaz River, and Bidvaz Dam. Additionally, the cultural and historical attractions of the area include the Upper Castle, the old village bathhouse, and the tomb of Sheikh Rashid al-Din Bidvazi.

A large amount of rainwater is stored behind the Bidvaz Dam during the winter, which can be used for drinking water by the villagers and people in the city of Esfarayen. The handicrafts of this area include carpet weaving, felting, Jajim weaving, and Kurdish tablecloths (Sofreh Kordi)
