The Grand Mosque of Hashtrud is considered the only historical mosque in the city. It is located on Beheshti Street North, near the main square of the city. Every week, the Friday political-religious prayer of Hashtrud County is held in this mosque. Besides the Friday political-religious prayer, most national and religious ceremonies are also conducted here.
The mosque features stone and wood architecture and consists of various sections such as an iwan (porch) with stone columns, brick arches, and wooden windows. Its architecture and age date back to the Qajar period, and it has been restored and renovated in subsequent periods.
