Pollution in big cities like Mashhad city has caused people to visit mountainous areas such as Torqabeh. It is a mountainous area, 15 km from Mashhad city. This area is located on the Jagharq road, southwest of Mashhad, and reaches Binalood (county and mountain) from the west and north.
There are many scenic areas in Torqabeh. The climate of this region is unique. Spending the hot season of the year in parks has a different atmosphere. The area's gardens and complexes provide a place to relax. Torqabeh Public Park or Pooneh Park is one of the parks in this area, crossed by a river. You can spend a few hours by the river to become quiet. Bahman Forest Park is another popular attraction. This Forest Park enjoys lush and very tall trees that you can rest in the shadow. Chalidareh Recreation Complex, Golestan Dam, Kamar Maqboula Park, Forest Sidewalk, and Kordineh Heights are other attractions in this area.
If you go to Torqabeh, visit the attractions of Mashhad city that are close to this area. Imam Reza (PBUH) Holy Shrine, Vakil-Abad Park, Proma Shopping Complex, Goharshad Mosque, Golestan Dam, and Parizad School can be named but a few. You can also go to see the villages of this region: Jagharq, Hesar, and Golestan, etc., and enjoy their fair weather and stunning natural landscapes.
Because Torqabeh is a highland area, the winter is bitterly cold. So it is better to choose the warmer seasons of the year for walking. The cool air in spring and summer in this area will refresh you, but we recommend not miss the colorful autumn and beautiful trees in this area.
To reach this fantastic area by car, drive to the end of Vakilabad Street. Then go to Torqabeh from Imam Reza Boulevard. If you want to use public transport, take the metro to the last station of the Vakilabad line, known as the West Terminal Station, and from there take a bus or taxi to Torqabeh.
