Natanz city is a city-garden in the middle of the road of Kashan to Isfahan that is located in the northwest of Ardestan city. Tameh village is placed in the south of Natanz and it is considered as a good weather countryside of Natanz city because of its location on the hillside of Karkas mountain.

This village has two beautiful valleys named Pakdar and Papoul in its western part. Both valleys have formed magnificent waterfalls because of their abundant water. Pakdar valley is placed on the rout of Karkas peak. Papoul valley that is located along the gardens of the village reaches finally to one of the beautiful waterfalls of the region named Tameh.

Tameh waterfall has a height of approximately twenty-three meters. The water of this waterfall that is originated from Delavan region, irrigates the gardens of Tameh village and the also gardens of the historical city of Natanz on its route.

The agricultural products of this mountainous village are apple, plum, walnut, sour cherry and the fruits that are common in cold regions. But the main souvenir of Tameh village is pear that had been famous from the past as Tohfe-ye Natanz (the souvenir of Natanz). Some other plants are also grown in this region that have medicinal effects; they are Asafetida, Rubia tinctorum, Colocynth, Thymus, Nettles, Milkvetch and Yellow salsify.

Tameh village is also famous because of its location on the route of Karkas peak. Mountain climbers in the spring and summer rise a wonderful but rather hard route from the eastern side toward Karkas peak, with a height of 3950 meters.

Tameh village has various natural and historical attractions. Interesting among the natural ones are Delavan spring, Lagleh spring and Khawjeh Fazel spring. Sayyid Fazel Tameh shrine and a Timurid mausoleum are the historical attractions of this village.

In order to see this beautiful waterfall, you must move toward Natanz in the middle of the route of Kashan to Isfahan. Then, pass through about seven kilometers of the asphalt bypass. This village is placed in the east of Karkas mountain.

Most of people in this village are occupied with agriculture and livestock and its population is about 430. Houses have been constructed in a traditional style with wood and thistle coverage in which the roofs are covered with thatch.

Located in the protected area of Karkas, Tameh has cool weather and various attractions that make it a suitable place for few days of excursion and stay especially during warm seasons.
