The Khargerd Ghiasieh School is located in the village of Khargerd, five kilometers southeast of Khaf. This historical structure is located 278 kilometers away from Mashhad and is near the border of Iran with Afghanistan. The Khargerd School, also known as the Ghiasieh School, dates back to the Timurid period and is located in the Khargerd village of Khaf County. This monument was registered as one of Iran's national monuments under number 126, on January 15, 1932. The school has four courtyards, the largest of which is 5.4 meters wide, and its total area is 11 meters. There is a large pond in the main courtyard and there are numerous rooms for students in the school's vast complex. The school has 23 classrooms in two floors. The Khargerd Ghiasieh School is one of the most complete and most picturesque historical schools from the Timurid period in the world. Every historical monument in this county is considered a masterpiece of medieval Islamic architecture in Iran.
