Avaj Suspension Bridge

This bridge is 170 meters erected over the valley and waterfall of Shah Darreh and it is the second large suspension bridge in Iran. 

The width of bridge is a meter and a half and it is 105 meters above the ground level, capable of supporting more than 200 tones weight of the passengers. 

Avaj suspension bridge was part of a tourism plan made by Avaj municipality, providing a proper context for reinforcing the tourism attractions in the region. It can transform the region’s economy and occupations through tourism development. 

Shah Darreh waterfall is placed in the west of the city flowing down through extremely high rocks. Due to the mountainous climate of the region, those who are going to climb and visit Shah Darreh Waterfall can easily use the staircase provided there to reach the top and enjoy its pleasant atmosphere. 

Other tourism installations such as restaurants are also provided here. Tourists can also use the restaurants and accommodation centers located in Avaj.
