The mausoleum of Mirza Kouchak-Khan Jangali (Persian: آرامگاه میرزا کوچک خان جنگلی) is located in Soleyman-Darab Cemetery in Rasht, Gilan Province. Yunes Ostad Sarai, known as Mirza Kouckak-Khan Jangali, was one of the leading fighters of the Constitutional Revolution and the leader of the Jungle Movement, who sparked a protest of the violation of Iran's territorial integrity and independence by foreigners after the Persian Constitution Revolution. Finally, Mirza Kouckak-Khan died under the pressure of cold and snow on 2 December 1921. Due to the importance of this historical figure in the province, after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Technical Office for the Preservation of Antiquities of Gilan prepared a plan for the construction of a monument. It has been constructed and implemented with the participation of the people.
The architecture is Islamic and traditional Iranian architecture as a regular octagon of geometric shapes common in traditional Iranian architecture. It is constructed with an area of 40 square meters and a height of 9 meters. The materials of this mausoleum are mainly bricks, tiles, pottery, and wood. All the materials are local, and its combination with the green space of the old trees around the building is reminiscent of the forest and harmonized with the liberal character of Mirza Kouchak-Khan Jangali. The facade of the building is decorated with tiles and bricks. The ceiling of the building is designed with Gereh Chini (Trelliswork), and it is written a row of verses (Ayah) of the Qur'an on top. The cause of damage to this building is natural causes such as climate and earthquake.
Next to the mausoleum of Mirza Kouckak-Khan Jangali, there is the mausoleum of the famous and popular poet of Gilan, Shivan Foomani, who is the most well-known poet in the local Gilaki language in Gilan province. The tombstone of this famous poet has been designed as a book of his poems.
