Maritime Museum of the sea and the Persian Gulf of Bushehr is one of the most prominent tourist attractions located in the Sabz Abad neighborhood of Bushehr port. The museum includes the consular building and the pavilion featuring various military and naval weapons and equipment. This museum has started working in 2008. The primary core of the building belongs to the Qajar dynasty (1789-1925). The materials used in it are precious coral pieces, and in the interior architecture of the building, Iranian-specific tiles with various geometric designs and Islamic shapes have been used. The Pavilion Mansion had been established in 1858 as the summer residence of the consulate general of Great Britain in the Sabz Abad area of ​​Bushehr. Then It turned into the permanent location of the British Consulate General in this city. 

The museum had belonged to the British government until the end of World War II and then was transferred to the Iranian government and the Iranian navy in 1946. In the historical part of the Pavilion Mansion, various showcases of military and naval equipment such as launch scale model, medical and health equipment, warships, group training boards, historical maps, Latin and Old Persian typewriters used in ships, Marine cameras, and night-vision device, the food containers of soldiers and naval personnel, documents, various stones, shells and sea creatures as well as the biographies of naval martyrs during the Iran-Iraq war are kept and displayed in the museum.

In the exterior courtyard of the Pavilion Mansion, all kinds of warships and military boats, submarines, and naval vessels equipped with military equipment were designed and built by Iranian engineers during the Iran-Iraq war. The 110-year-old Persepolis ship, a German gift to Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar, known as Iran's first warship, also features at the museum. It is also possible for visitors to watch the video of the Persepolis ship being taken out of the water in two months. This museum has an area of ​​eight hectares and has environmental and eye-catching views.
