Iran attends Russia’s MITT

Four representatives from Iran have attended the 24th Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition (MITT), one of the major travel exhibitions in the world.

Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei and Iran's Minister of Communications and Information Technology (CIT) Mahmoud Vaezi visited the exhibition to investigate strategies to expand Iran’s tourism industry.

Iran has a significant role in evolution of human civilization and today has a lot to offer to tourists to learn about ancient Persian civilization. Iran has potentials to host tourists in various categories of tourism industry from sports to religious tourism.

With over 1,600 participants from across the world, MITT is acts as a key meeting point for tourism businesses and Iran means to use the opportunity to expand ties with clients and business counterparts.

Iran used this venue to raise awareness of tourists and businesses about Iranian destinations and business environment in Iranian travel market.

The 24th edition of the MITT kicked off on 14 March, 2017 in Moscow and will finish on 16 March 16, 2017. MITT aims to host over 28,000 unique visitors mainly professionals of the tourism industry.
