Parvar Protected Area is located fifty kilometers north of Semnan city, which borders Mazandaran province from the north, Shahmirzad from the south, Damghan from the east, and Chashem from the west. Currently, the area of ​​the region is estimated to be more than sixty-four thousand square kilometers. This region includes the villages of Parvar, Kavard, Tama, Telajim, Finesk and Maladeh. The most important historical monuments of Parvar are Seyyed Tajuddin Imamzadeh, historic bathhouse and cemetery. Among the attractions of this region, we can mention its nomads and countryside areas.

Parvar region has diverse plant and animal species living on the foothills of Eastern Alborz. The beautiful Oras (mountain cypress) forests, green meadows and forests of broad-leaved trees, along with the unique diversity of wildlife, have given this region an attractive and unique appearance. However, the region is also affected by hot and dry southern winds.

Rivers, springs, and swamps as sources of water in Parvar Protected Area. This area has several rivers, all of which are seasonal and water flows in most of the seasons in a year. The most important river in this region is Sefidroud, originating from the heights of Neyzevaa. There are also Tenge Kavard and Rodbark Rivers in these areas, both of which branched off from the Sefidroud. 

Parvar Protected Area has a relatively diverse animal species, among which thirty-nine species of mammals can be mentioned, including roe deer, maral, leopard, boar, brown bear, lynx, caracal, pallas's cat, wild cat, wild goat, ram and sheep, deer, wolf, common fox, jackal, hyena and otter. This area is also a target for many birders to see and photograph birds such as partridges, quails, bobcats, tawny owls, common linnet, and a variety of predatory birds. Not to mention that the habitat of species of reptiles and amphibians such as vipers, snakes, monitor lizards, snakes and all kinds of toads are also in this area.

In order to reach Parvar Protected Area, one should follow the asphalt road that goes from Reza Abad or Foulad Mohalla to the area.
