El-Goli Mansion (Persian: عمارت ال گلی), also known as Shah Goli is the name of a large park, located in the southeast, 7 km from the city center of Tabriz. It is a complex which is the sightseeing of Tabriz and one of the most prominent tourist attractions of this historic city. El-Goli is a collection of a large garden, a large pool, and a majestic mansion in the middle of the pool.

Although the history of El-Goli is not clear, it sounds that during the Aq-qoyunlu dynasty (1378-1501) the construction process was started and continued until the Safavid era (1501-1736). However, it seems that the lake originally was used as a water resource for agricultural purposes. There was an artificial island with a small palace in the middle of the lake which was used as a royal summer palace during the Qajar dynasty (when Tabriz was the official residence of the Prince of Iran).

During the Mohammadreza Pahlavi era (1941-1979), the palace was reconstructed and a pass-way was built to connect the island to the sidewalks. It has a square artificial lake surrounded by four sidewalks on four sides. El-Goli Mansion (with an octagonal plan) is situated in the middle of the lake, with the traditional architecture of Iranian Azerbaijan. These days, this two-story mansion is used as a function hall and restaurant, and it is known as a Shah-Goli palace.

There is a hill covered by trees in the South of the lake. Two beautiful stairways connect the sidewalks to the top of the hill. At the top of the hill, there is a building with modern architecture (Hotel Pars). In El-Goli, there are a zoo, with the same name, and other recreational facilities such as sleds and playground equipmen. It should be mentioned that El-Goli Mansion was registered in the national monuments of Iran in 2009.
