It is human and he is always ruining wherever he goes, even a cave in the heart of the mountain or desert land, and even it has been placed inside the protected area of Borouiyeh in Harat, Yazd province.

Located in 225kilometers to Khatam, Khaneh Khoda cave is dug inside a mountain with the same name. to reach Khaneh Khoda cave, leave Khatam for Harat, four kilometers before Chahak, a 17-kilometer dirt road leads you to Borouiyeh in Harat that is one of the areas under the protection of Department of Environment. Proceed seven kilometers to Chenarnaz, after Borouiyeh and dirt road; there is an amazing cave there. Although some passengers and tourists have damaged the beauties of this cave by breaking its anticlines, it still shines gloriously.

Some karst or lime caves are in the form of underground holes; Khaneh Khoda is of this kind that has been constituted 2375meters above the sea level. It has been created as an underground hole through penetrating water into the limestone cracks, dissolving and growing the hole by time until it became a cave.

Khaneh Khoda cave has a narrow and small opening with 1.5meter diameter, however, the internal space is relatively large and it is not so difficult to enter and visit the cave. The internal space is laminated and almost horizontal, with 45meters length, between 1.5 and 5.3meters width, and 0.5 to 3meters height of the hall.

The water dropped from the ceiling sediments in combination with the existing limestone in the cave resulting in extremely beautiful and eye-catching anticlines. They are known as stalagmite and stalactite; they are Greek words that mean “what is dripping”. Stalactites are in fact filled conical shapes that are hung from the ceiling and stalagmites are the sediments formed on the ground and under the ceiling.

This wonderful cave has attracted many tourists and cave trekkers from all around the world and many passengers visit it every year, however, there are so problems; not being introduced properly and not informing people about stalagmites and stalactites leading to the irreparable damages.
